Privacy, in plain sight.
CuePilot is a project of Tech27 Solutions Pty Ltd. The browser preview keeps show data on your computer. This page explains the difference between using that app and visiting this website.
Visiting the website
This is a static information and download site. We do not add advertising trackers, application analytics, contact forms or a visitor account system. Fonts and website assets are served with the site, rather than requested from a third-party font service. The interactive cue demonstration stays in page memory and resets when you reload.
To deliver a page or file, a web server receives information such as your IP address, the requested URL, request time and browser information. Hosting and network services may process or retain request logs for delivery, operation and security. For information about the current hosting arrangements and log retention, contact web@t27.au.
Using the downloaded preview
CuePilot stores show settings and recovery snapshots in your browser’s local storage, and imported audio/video in IndexedDB on your computer. The app does not upload your shows or media to a cloud show service, and it has no cloud sync.
- Show settings include cue names, notes, timing, media references and configuration you enter. They remain until changed or removed, or until browser data is cleared.
- Imported media remains in the browser’s local library until browser storage is cleared. Removing a cue does not delete its imported media from that library. The app does not remove your original files.
- Undo/redo stores editing history in memory, with up to 50 transitions within an 8 MiB budget. It resets on reload.
- Recovery stores up to eight recent show-setting snapshots within a 1 MiB budget. These survive reloads, but are removed as older entries are evicted or browser data is cleared. Recovery does not duplicate media files.
Storage is tied to the browser profile and the app’s location. Local-file storage behavior varies between browsers. Other people with access to that profile or computer may also be able to access its stored data.
Exports and copies you share
A portable show ZIP contains your show settings and every referenced audio/video file. A settings-only JSON export contains show settings and media references, without the media bytes. You choose where to save these files and whether to share them. Copies you create or send are retained according to your choices and those of their recipients or backup services.
Cue names, notes, filenames, media and connection settings may contain information about people or a venue. Review exports before sharing. Do not put passwords, access tokens or other credentials in cue notes or OSC strings.
Removing your data
You can clear CuePilot’s local show and media storage through your browser settings. Removing an individual cue does not delete the associated file from the browser’s media library. Clearing storage can permanently remove your local show and media. Export a portable ZIP before clearing data if you want to keep a backup. You must also delete any downloaded or shared copies separately.
